About our scanner

If you saw AegisRunner-Preview in your server logs, that was us. SecuredSave (part of SecuredAll) uses the AegisRunner scanner to run automated accessibility checks on public web pages: when someone requests a free check on this site, and to prepare free reports for a small number of businesses we contact.

What it does

Loads a few public pages (usually one or two) in a browser, at low speed and with strict time limits.
Never logs in, fills in or submits forms, adds items to a basket or buys anything.
Honours robots.txt and does not follow redirects to other websites.

How to stop it

Add this to your robots.txt and the scanner will not visit your pages:

User-agent: AegisRunner-Preview
Disallow: /
